What counts as a source

The state pages of ged.com and hiset.org, and the official pages of the two programs on scores, practice tests and online testing. A news article, a forum post or a test prep site can point us to a change; we publish it only after reading the official page.

How a figure reaches a page

Fees and rules are copied into one data file with the date they were read. Pages and calculators read that file; nobody types an amount into a page. A weekly check flags state pages that changed, and a flagged page is read again before a figure is changed.

Estimates and practice questions

A total with retakes is an estimate built on the rules shown on the method page. Practice questions are written by us, never copied from a real test, and are labelled as such wherever they appear.

Independence

Radif Partners receives nothing from test prep companies, schools, tutors or any business that serves test takers, and the pages carry no affiliate links. The site is not linked to GED Testing Service, ETS or any public body and does not present itself as one.

Corrections

A reported error is checked against the official page; if we were wrong, the page is corrected and its date updated. Write through the contact page.
